This picturesque site is located directly on Hwy. 2238 however it's easy to miss because it's not well marked.  It's on the road to Prasat Ta Muean, very close to the Ban Jarn Sub District Administration building.  This small dilapidated prasat was apparently made almost entirely of bricks.  Two large sandstone columns which were probably part of the entrance frame are still standing vertically supported by some modern iron braces.  The original sandstone lintel is sitting on the ground in front of the structure however some fiend hacked off the central figure.  Google has some photos for Wat Prasat Ban Chan that show the lintel.  All that's left of the structure are the remains of the square brick base on top of a mound in a square “island” surrounded by a moat.  The moat and trees around the island make this quiet site a very nice place to visit.
